Motorcoach Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced motorcoach mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing motorcoaches, buses, and other large commercial vehicles. The successful candidate will be skilled in troubleshooting complex mechanical issues, using specialized tools and equipment, and have a strong understanding of diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance and repair work on motorcoaches and other large commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Inspect and test vehicle systems to ensure they meet safety and environmental standards.
• Follow manufacturer and company procedures for performing maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate with other team members to ensure work is performed efficiently.
• Keep up-to-date with industry developments and technology advancements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade certification or technical diploma in mechanics, automotive or heavy-duty equipment.
• Experience as a motorcoach mechanic or similar role.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to motorcoach maintenance and repair.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
